Well I like to take this time to tell you a little about myself and would appreciate you reading this.
My name is Juan martinez and I used to go by the name bboy Nintendo but now my new name is bboy Reborn. I am from Boston MA. I have been bboying about 13 to 14 years starting August 19 2007. I am 25 years old. About 4 years out of 14 I got all messed up with drugs and I forgot about what was more important in life and I just didnt know who I was anymore. But I have came back and cleaned myself up got my mind stright and know trying to do more than I have ever done in my bboy life. I started bboying when I was 11 years old that was the year of 1993. I was that little boy that watching Floorlords, NewYorkcity breakers, Rock Steady Crew, Style Elements, and the list go's on. About 1995 to 96 I saw you cats in pictures a couple of clips here and there, seeing you guys at jams and just really watching you guys taking to new era. I was the type of kid that did't really have people teach me this dance or take me under your wing and say "Hey let me show you something". I watched alot of my friends and kids I knew that were nobody's get into gangs, quit breakdancing couse they weren't into it no more, felt like it was too old, and wasnt going to take them anywhere in life. But not me, Me at that point being 11 years old and growing up and saying that he wants to go far with this and knowing that he can do the foundation, show's that he has loyalty to this dance and never give it up for no matter what life has in store for me. I have basically praticed my a** off over these years and no one has ever sat down and taught me how to do this, I only took information and from what I see from whatching Beach Street, Breakin 1 and 2, and watching all those crews I have mentioned on bboy videos from back in the day that showed the foundation that the kids of today that they know nothing about and what the leaders of today are trying to get the message out. I feel that it is very hard now coming from the back ground that you guys come from and learning and taking advice from the top leaders of the bboy world to earn respect from the bboys and bgirls you see now. I feel that the whole bboy world is corrupted now and are forgeting about whats more important in this game . Cats are more worried about winning 1000 of dollars and getting there names out there and being popular. Naw not me I want respect more than anything I don't care about the trophies or who I'm better than or who thinks they are better than me, or how many wins I have under my belt. But out here in boston (and yeah you can call me a hater if u want to, whoever else is readng this) cats kind of forget who were the ones dancing longer and who was more loyal to the game when it was just about respect and now that you try to express your feelings, you just get cut off and be called a hater or your just jeolous of these kids. And when I say this Abstract I am not a jeolous person of any other bboy that is on top and I'm not, they at least had someone that took them far in the game but me in another hand had no one. No one taught me how to do a 6 step or windmill and toprock. It took my hard dedication to learn these moves and feel good about bboying aka breakdancing. Just to make a long story short I really look up to you especially and the whole Skill Method crew and all the other crew that I watched and looked up to my whole life of bboying.
So what I would like to know is how did you get respect, what did you have to do to earn your respect and how many more years I have to go to earn my respect?
PS. please take your time and read this information and back at me on private or reply back and sorry for the long post but I have a lot to say just for you to hear me out. 1 love to everybody who respects me or don't. Reborn
