I've been learning for the last couple months, and a tendon or ligiment, or something like that is inflamed. I can really feel it when I am sitting on my feet with me heels up when I'm doing footwork. I am in pretty good shape, and this is really agrivating. it has gotten worse, to the point that I can't do much at all. I hope it doesn't take too long to get better. I put Icy Hot stuff on it. Have you guys in skill methodz had to deal with any tendon or ligiment issues? What do you do in your down time? After it healed, what did you do differntly? did it heal back stronger? any other words about injury?

Hmmmm if it is a problem with a ligiment or tendon that its pretty tricky to deal with. Ive broken the bones and torn the ligiments in my thumb quite a few times, but luckily for me I jus got around it by breakin flat handed while I worked on strengthening it up. But if its a problem in your legs then thats a bit harder to work around. If where thinking of the same thing I get it in my knee when im in the position you described, if so try to develop a different way of sitting while in that position that doesnt hurt. other that that Im out of ideas. injuries are the bane of a boy its best to give it time, use good judgement, and try to work around it. if all else fails it best to get professional help.

It's in my shin. It's not a tear; I think it's just something worked really hard and inflamed. I think the shoes I was using didn't have enough support, so I just bought the ones floor lords are putting out.

i've cracked a rip...healed in a month in a half without dancing... cracked a toe....doin flares without sneaker back in the day... neck injury with tracks.....back problems wrist problems...a lot... knee injury but nothing serious enough to get surgery....
IN MY DOWN TIME: just exercised the place of injury as much as i could to strengthen it...and stretched it... when i could i would work on other parts of the body that weren't hurt ..like one leg styles or one arm....or just toprock styles....
i know tek could speak on his acl injury...thats no joke...
