Hey everyone, i was just wondering if anyone can help me with halos, i want to start learning the power move, but i have absolutely no idea of how to do it. Any tips and adivce would be greatly appreciated. by the way are doing halos with the elbows easier? and which powermove is easier to learn first - elbow airflares or elbow halos? thankz in advance I can tell u 3 basic ways of practice...u should practice all ways! *explanation will be in counter-clock wise (to the left)...reverse if need be. Reg halos or tracks 1. (From WindMills) From a windmill...catch urself as if u were going to a baby freeze...all at the same time...kik ur left leg up to the sky and right leg behind...chin up...right hand close to ur neck wit elbow up, so that catch urself... U should be able to go bak to windmills... *drills to condition tracks .....Windmill, track, windmill, 2 tracks, windmill, 3 tracks...etc. 2. (From baby track or head swipe) On ur bak....chin up...right foot on floor, left up...push around to ur left with ur right foot, turning ur head to the left and swing ur arms around also (elbows should b out, hands balled up to ur chest....help u catch momentum to go around)...catching ur self as if going to a baby... Straight to a track.... refer to step 1 (without doing windmill). *to continue...from track catch self and tap right foot (like going to reverse chair) and repeat step 2. 3. (From up-top) Do this as if u where going to do a windmill but go straight to tracks....... Actually...there's another way....that would help too.....I call em halo taps..... Start from a baby....lift ur legs up straight out in V position then just .... Wind-up legs like doing head taps... Start kiking n switching (step 1 description) and bak to the V position .... U can practice this slow....gain strength... Elbow tracks..... I think it depends on the person....some learn em b4 reg halos....and elbow airflare.... Learning elbow tracks might give u an idea of how ur body switches with ur elbow....in elbow airflares...... Peace @ *I'm sure other people have other ways of exlpaining...... Good luck
